Hi, my name is

Isfar Hassan.

I build data systems for real operations.

I’m a business intelligence and software professional focused on transforming complex operational data into reliable reporting, automation, and decision-support systems. I work across Power BI, PostgreSQL, APIs, and production software.

01. About Me

I work at the intersection of business intelligence, software engineering, and operations. My job is rarely just to make a dashboard — it’s to make the underlying data dependable enough that people can actually use it to make decisions.

I’ve built and supported reporting across operations, accounting, executive analytics, mobile applications, and internal software platforms. I’m especially interested in systems where data quality, performance, and business context matter as much as the front-end visualization.

Technologies I use regularly include:

  • Power BI / DAX / Power Query
  • PostgreSQL / SQL
  • Python
  • C# / ASP.NET Core
  • Vue / Quasar
  • Git / GitHub

  • Own BI delivery from business requirements through data modeling, dashboard development, deployment, refresh monitoring, and production support.
  • Automate recurring operational and performance reporting, reducing manual preparation and creating more consistent business metrics.
  • Restore reporting after application and database changes by tracing schema changes, missing fields, moved historical data, gateway issues, connectivity problems, and query bottlenecks.
  • Build data-quality and discrepancy workflows across operational source systems to catch problems before they reach management reporting.
  • Design targeted extraction and reconciliation approaches for historical datasets exceeding 22 million records.
ISite Energy Technologies

Business Intelligence Developer @ ISite Energy Technologies, LLC

  • Build automated production-monitoring and data-quality solutions to identify anomalies, missing records, allocation discrepancies, production declines, and reporting inconsistencies.
  • Develop ASP.NET Core / C# APIs and backend services that expose production data for internal applications, reporting platforms, and mobile solutions.
  • Support internal iOS and web applications used for production surveillance, operational reporting, and executive decision-making.
  • Integrate and standardize data across databases belonging to multiple sister companies, enabling consistent cross-company reporting and analytics.
  • Automate recurring reporting and data workflows to reduce manual preparation and improve data availability and reliability.
  • Work directly with operations, accounting, engineering, development, and executive stakeholders to translate business requirements into dashboards, reports, APIs, and internal software solutions.
